Sept 26 Hanover, PA

September 26, Thursday

This morning we head to Camping World and they work us in.  The tech who looks at the fridge just moved here from Austin, Texas.  He says he found some corrosion in the fridge panel and a short in one of the wires.  We are happy that they say it is fixed - in less than an hour's time.

We go across the street to Come A Casa and share a philly cheese steak sandwich for lunch.

From here we go to the Guthrie Memorial Library in Hanover - a lovely large building built in old style.  It also has some nice stained glass windows that are from the original library that was demolished to build this one.

Lots of nice wood interior and great wi-fi.  Very cozy and comfortable for a new building.

There are a great many food processing and manufacturing plants in Hanover. (Bird's Eye, Green Giant, Utz Potato Chips, Clark Shoes and more.) We stop at the Snyder's Outlet for some pretzels and other goodies on our way home.

When Anita and Kevin get home, we head out to see Anita's son Nick run a soccer practice for a group of 3 year olds- including his son Knox.  It is funny and cute.  There are soccer balls and a small goal involved, but otherwise not too much resemblance to soccer.

A new way to "head" the ball!

The most excitement is when Nick asks who wants a snack and then the kids proceed to chase him around the field with him waving snacks. Hilarious!

Here are Anita and Kevin with other grandson, Rhone.

We watch a herd of deer with a few big bucks near the soccer field - too far for a good photo.  A  stop for soup and salad on the way home, followed by a nice evening of catch-up conversation.
