Happy Valentine's Day.   37 degrees at 7:00 this morning, but the days warm up quickly and we've been changing to shorts later in the day.

Went for a walk in the desert behind Tom and Sue's house.  Lots of cactus, bushes and rocks including these Soap Tree Yuccas.  We're holding some interesting rocks for our collection.

Then drove from Benson to the Titan Missile Museum near Tucson.  Very interesting tour.  This is the only remaining missile silo kept as a museum.  Scarey how close the world was to destruction!

Control Room.  Anita, in the commander's chair, got to turn the key to launch.

Looking down into the silo.

After this Anita and Kevin went to ship their amethyst church and we went with Tom and Sue to Patagonia Lake State Park.  One of a few lakes in the area, very pretty with quite a few birds and an unusual arched bridge.  Had a picnic lunch - absolutely gorgeous day!

We fixed Red Beans and Rice for dinner and made a red velvet cake for Valentine's Day.  Watched some of the Olympics and enjoyed the company.
